Fix a source that was not read

Open the document in Sources and read its error message.

What does the source say?

• File cannot be readCheck the format and size
• Credit limit reachedCheck the allowance
• Drive version waitingAccept the incoming version

• Unreadable file: paste the text or use a PDF with selectable text. Scans need text recognition; password-protected PDFs need the password removed.
• Too large: split it into files up to 10 MB and PDFs up to 300 pages.
• Credit limit: ask your workspace owner who can adjust the allowance.
• Drive version waiting: accept it under Connections before it can be read.

After fixing the cause, use Read again where offered.

No suggestions after a successful reading can be normal: the document may repeat existing knowledge. A source marked Only me does not contribute to shared knowledge.
